Davis Island Park is a must for families! It features ballfields, tennis and basketball courts, a large kid friendly playground, and restrooms (parents rejoice everywhere!). There’s plenty of room for kids to run, play, climb, and have lunch.

Picnic at Marjorie Park
Marjorie Park is ideal for families that want to relax and see waterfront views. Spread out a blanket, unpack your lunch, and let the kids play in the open green space while you enjoy the breeze of the water. Perfect for kites and bringing a frisbee!

Davis Island Dog Beach
My family personally loves this little beach! We love grabbing a pizza, bringing our dog, and watching the sunset. Even if you don’t have a dog, this little beach is perfect for kids. Watching dogs swim, the sailboats coming in and out, and playing in the water is a fun casual spot!

Davis Islands is incredibly walkable and stroller friendly. Take a leisurely walk through the neighborhoods and enjoy the quiet streets, shady areas, and the gorgeous waterfront scenery.

One of my favorite spots for kids in all of Tampa. Just a short drive from Davis Islands, the Glazer Children’s Museum is packed with hands on exhibits that encourage imaginative play. There are several areas, and you can spend an entire day exploring all the different parts! My favorite part is the airplane section.

Make a trip to ZooTampa
