Sunset beach maternity
For this Beach Maternity session, this gorgeous mama found me on HulaFrog and reached out to celebrate her pregnancy for her upcoming baby girl!
Her and her husband loved the idea of driftwood on the beach during sunset and I was so excited to oblige them. Over the years, the hurricanes have destroyed away the driftwood on a lot of our Tampa beaches, but some of it is still there. It photographs so beautifully during sunset adding texture to the soft sand and bold colored skies.
During her session, she wore a beautiful pink maternity dress to represent her baby girl and as you can see below she was stunning against the sunset we got that evening.

Before their beach maternity photos, their little guy hadn’t been to the beach before. Documenting him taking in the scenery made this a special session as well. He had so much fun playing in the sand, watching the birds, and seeing boats.
Photography sessions with me are always relaxing, with gentle direction and posing. It also means letting the littles play, getting in the water, and just being yourselves.
I love to document maternity sessions that include all members of the family, even the siblings! Between this family, there was so much love and laughter which you can clearly see in their images.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Are you currently expecting and thinking about having a beach maternity session done? I think that no matter who you book for a maternity session, that it is an important moment to document. And if you’re wondering if you should bring the siblings, the answer is YES!
