Choosing Colors for your Newborn Photography Session
Your darling baby is here and we are almost ready for your Tampa Newborn photography session! Let the fun part begin – designing your custom, newborn photography session!
Most of the time people immediately think pink or blue for their newborn session, but I am going to walk you through picking colors that will fit nicely with your decor. When choosing colors for a newborn session, it is important to consider the overall look and feel of the photos.
muted Newborn Colors-
Soft muted colors for newborns are nice as they tend to be calming and soothing. These colors include: Pale pink, Lavender, Mint green, Powder blue, Cream, Light yellow, and Soft peach.
Neutral Newborn Colors-
Neutral tones for newborn colors are popular choices, as they can be easily matched with any nursery decor. These colors include: pale yellow, whites, creams, and grays.
Pastel Newborn Colors
If you want to add a bit of color, pastels such as light blues, light pinks, light purple, and yellows are great options.
Bold newborn colors-
Sometimes bright colors work such as pops of red, mustard, and Royal blue, but not as an overall color. If possible it’s our best recommendation to avoid bright colors or patterns that may be too distracting from the baby.

Matching your newborn photography session colors to the decor in your home can help create a cohesive look and feel throughout your home. It can also help create a timeless look that will last for years to come. By matching the colors of your newborn photos to the decor in your home, you can ensure that your photos will look great no matter where you decide to hang them.
